Thank you all for your feedback, there was nothing like this when i was racing bikes years ago but having all this advice from around the world is invaluable now.

I will be reluctantly selling the cranks on here, reluctantly as they look so good on the frame but there is a lot of common sense spoken here that should not be egnored,

Man.. did you ever get the rebound cartridge serviced? the bladder in the cartridge was shot! had a huge hole in it so the fork wasnt getting a lick of rebound
